BUT, when you're standing all day, you start to sink into that cushioned foam which can throw off your body alignment, causing aches & pains in your back, knees, and feet.
In our line of work, we need a stable midsole to ensure we are properly protecting ourselves from minor tweaks to major injuries by keeping our body properly aligned.

2. NATURAL FOOT SHAPE
Running shoes are designed to be fast, lightweight, and streamlined. While this may be beneficial for your local 5k or run club "fit check", it isn't ideal for long periods of time.
Our shoes were designed with a natural foot shape offering a wider toe box to account for minor swelling that occurs when standing on your feet all day. You dont realize how nice this feels until you experience it :)

3. NOT BUILT FOR THE JOB
Our workplace is filled with fluids. Most running shoes are made to be as breathable and as low friction as possible. This does not fit well in our environment and are quick to break down.
We refer to these as ‘requirements’ for a work shoe, not just ‘features.’ Your shoes should protect you from slips, falls, and keep fluids from soaking into your socks all day. They should be durable enough to stand up to months of long hours and hard wear. We stand by our durability.
